Thread: Knocking Down Nimrod Monsters with The Daughter.

Took my daughter and her Friend out for a day of spider rigging on Lake Nimrod. As the spider lines cut through a dead calm surface...My daughter and her boyfriend Arron (first time spider rigging) along with my self saw some of the most vicious spider rigging strikes a crappie can give. They were slamming the pole so hard I swear they were eating blue algae. Allot of times the strikes were so violent there was no way we could keep them hooked as we also saw several big ones get off. We were trolling in 8 feet of water with very Big Minners. Stopped fishing at 2 Pm with 52 in the box and the heat of the day got to be too much to bear. Nimrod has some beautiful crappies in it and I was happy to watch my daughter and her friend catch the tar out of em as I deck handed for them. Good Times by all had in the Dark Angel today.
