    i remember tearing up lots of my dads hunting and fishing equipment when i was a youngster growing up, one thing he told me that was spot on is youll take better care of stuff once you start paying for it, thats a fact!!!! just part of growing up !!!! let em live and learn and teach as you go!!!!!!

    Man that brings back memories. Sinking my dad's boat, letting his Ranger slide off the trailer, leaving his tent up down by the creek. Then the creek rose and washed it away. My son didn't want to do any of those things, I wish he had of wanted to. Anyway one day they'll grow up and give you grandkids. That's God's gift for not killing them.

    That sounds like an expensive trip, but way cheaper than a rap sheet, or just a long night at a bar. Good job dad for having the gear for them to learn on! And also having the patience not too blow your lid and scare them off from trying again.
