Where on the refugee? I grew up there at Maddox Bay. My brothers and I still own my parents place on the Bay. Once you have lived It you can never get it out of your blood. :-)

I camped at East Moon a week in the spring and a week in the fall from the time I was 16 years old. Fished East Moon, Swan, upper and lower Parish. I also had a cabin on East Lake that I was at any day I wasn't working. It was in Bream Village. When Townsen and Potlach sold to the Federal Fish and Wildlife things got too crowded and I sold the camp and moved on. We took a lot of fish and ducks out of that camp. East Moon has been in the system for a long time, except for fewer deer, it's pretty much like it was. I was told that the river blew out both ends of the chain of lakes. If it did and is not fixed, 20 miles of lakes will fill in.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

My dad retired from the refugee in 1999. I use to date one of the Prine girls.
That was back in the 70's. Been a long time ago. Nice to see people using the White River Refugee.
