Mama and I are headed out. No reservations............gonna stop and try Kirby Landing on Lake Greeson. I don't know why, just somewhere to go that isn't 16' flooded, I guess.
Tan 19' Lowe stinger, Merc 115 on back, Crappie.Com decal on back. Bring fish if at all possible. Cleaned fish would be an extra. I have oil.
Y'all come by and say howdy if'n you get a chance. Deez might come this weekend, if we aren't gone by then.
Buh buh bye!

Life is not measured by the breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
Have a safe trip and lots of fun
Best of luck!

Good luck to you and Mama. I have had success on Greeson, BUT I went last Friday and caught ONE.
He was close to 2 lbs, but still he was the only fish I caught. I may be going again this weekend, if I do I'll PM you and maybe we can meet up. GTT

I did not make it over to Greeson this weekend, but my cousin did. He and one of his friends put in at the Daisy State Park this morning and fished around Self Creek. They caught 15. He said the first fish of the day was a 2 pounder, then smaller ones from there.
Hope you had some luck on your Greeson trip. GTT

My cousin has spots literally all over that Self Creek Marina and bridge area. Some he has taken me to (and I have fished without him afterwards) are in the coves all around there, around some of the buoys, AND there is another good spot almost straight across from Arrowhead launch ramp. He has followed the guides around and has marked a lot of their spots too.
I have had good trips at Greeson and bad trips there. If you don't know the lake, you may find some brush piles underwater, but not the freshened up ones that hold more fish. I know of 9 brush piles in one cove there, but only 2 of those piles hold fish regularly.
Sorry you had a bad trip. GTT
