    OK never mind.

It didn't work the way you said, but I used my extensive IT training over many years to figure out to put an SD card in the COMPUTER slot, then Humminbirdpc saw that and let me upload from the F: drive (the SD card), but NOT the .gpx file.

Whatever, I now have the .hwr extension file for Greeson on an SD card and am about to go out into the dark night and plug in my HB DF and see if I can upload this file.

    back in a few

    Thank you guys.

I hate it didn't work out the way we said

I'm deleting the matrix folder I created on my server space. Save me a little bandwidth.

Well, I finally got it. I appreciate it. I owe bofya a tall frosty one.

BUT..........man...........first, it downloaded then it said "Only downloading 858 waypoints, out of memory". I don't know if that means I can't download any more lakes, or what....because I scrolled through them all and they are all there.

Second, not knowing this lake that well (it's been years and I'm not in an area I've ever fished), I had hoped the HB 768 would allow me to "go to nearest" but it won't. Heck, my Rino will do that!!! So once again, I'm hampered by old technology.

Third, this is my TM DF, not the console one! So, I'm going to have to get in the general area, figure out WHICH waypoint is in that area, and then "go to" it directly via trolling motor.

STILL, I'm way ahead of just flopping around blind, which is what I've basically done for years.

    P.S.
I need to borrow $5,850, please. Thank you. I need new stuff.

Again, thanks for your patience and help! This is a good place.
