We caught so many fish the other day on Greers that Matt has injured his wrist. I'm not kidding, no joke! He says that he can barely move it and is painful to touch. Now that is some catching! I told him he needs to toughen up to hang with the big boys!

He should try gill netting here, you can catch thousands of lbs in a day.
Thanks for the tip. Heading to Walmart to get me a brace for the next time I fish so when people ask, I don't have to give a number. Conversation after my next trip will go like this. "How many you catch? I caught so many my wrist is sore."

Hello,
I'm new to the forum, Arkansas, and crappie fishing in general. Though as a kid I fished for them a lot. Greers Ferry lake is where I plan to start my new career!! I'm nearly done building myself a boat and ready to go fishing. As Greers Ferry is a pretty good sized body of water where would a fellow start fishing on this lake? It'd be great if you could share a fishing spot or two to a new crappie fisherman! Also the appropriate boat ramp to put in. I just purchased a map of the lake so I have at least a start on the general features of the lake.
Thanks,
Lee
