Thread: Post Front Thumpin

Had another good day on the water. Started out at daylight in a pretty thick fog. I found a spot where they were on the feed, and within a few minutes I had eight fish in the boat! This guy had three Shad in his mouth, and still inhaled my Midsouth tube!! Most were dinks today, but as the fog lifted, a few big post-spawn females started to bite. This one surprised me, and I let out a loud WOO HOO!! when she came to the surface!! I looked behind me and Paleus and his wife was right behind me!! They caught me celebrating. Caught a few BIG Bluegill too. Had an unpleasant surprise this morning. This sucker scared the fire out of me!!! You never get used to that. Reminds you to check the limbs over real good before you slide up under em!


Sorry, no more Crappie pics today. Had a livewell full, but released all but two for lunch.
