Frierson is out of my district and I am not that familiar with it. It is the goal of every biologist to manage their lakes to their maximum potential. This can be difficult on some lakes. We always here that fishing was better back in the old days. I bet it was. Lakes naturally age and as they do, productivity decreases. This results in a fishery that isn't as good as it once was. This is just a reality that we need to acknowledge and manage the best we can. Mojorig is more familiar with this lake even though he is no long in that district. Maybe he can chime in and give a more informative answer than I gave.

You think they'll ever get Frierson back to the way it was "in the 70's" as my dad puts it. Apparently then there were some really nice crappie in there, and now it seems like such a waste of time to even think about fishing it as far as crappie are concerned. It would be so nice to have a decent crappie lake so close to home.
