    Got tired of fighting tangled pole's!

    looks good but i would suggest coating them with rubber or youll have frayed lines from rods bouncing in transport

    Plasti Dip will help the rods be protected. Good job. That should work. I would also keep an eye on the butt end of the rod where it rides on the holder to make sure it is not scoring and weakening the rod. If it does, the rods can be moved so the grip part of the butt is in the holder.

    you could always use a strip of window weather seal. got adhesive on the backing and weather resistant. hardware store has all types that would probably work real easy and only a few bucks.
