My group was was able to catch a nice mess this weekend at Nimrod ... 9 fow with most of the bite at 6 ft ... Double minnow rig SPYDER setup.
This is my first yr to crappie fish and I'm having a blast!!
Love the scouting aspect using the 899 Humminbird ... More like my other hobby of bowhunting!!!

Nimrod, my Nimrod fish last Friday were not great.......but I can't say they were 'poor'. Do you reckon (and you know more than I do) that the littler ones are not as 'poor' and skinny as the bigger ones? I thought of that when I read your other post. If that's correct, that'd bode well for the 'herd'........(what's a lake full of one species of fish called, anyway??? Matt????)
