    Default What's happening around Conway?

Anybody been fishing Lake Conway, Harris Brake, or the river near Conway? What is working? I've fished Lake Conway a few times in the past few weeks and haven't done very well. Only caught one small bass yesterday up in Wilhelmina Cove.

All the fish are gone. They have been caught out.

I hear if they move out of gold creek they don't bite anymore.
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

I'm no crappie pro, but I will tell you this- I CANNOT catch a crappie on Lake Conway right now.

The fish have all left the cove swam down through the Conway Dam into the Arkansas river and up to Lake Dardanelle. Your best bet is sign up for Crappie Camp at Lake Dardanelle.

If you want to stick with Conway I would be jigging wood cover on the main lake. Welcome to the board.

Time to start fishing the river then, I guess.
