Water temp has been around 62 and Ive been catching a few in the river in 2-5 fow mostly males on midsouth tubes chartreuse and white on a 1/16 chartreuse head.Boat traffic muddies the water alot though so I was wondering if anybody could tell me if its very good up past the marina.I see on google earth theres alot of trees up past the bridge so wondering if it would be good for single pole fishing.Havent fished very far past the marina so any help on a general area worth fishing would be appreciated. Thanks

Thought this was a cool pic from Saturday morning Nonedited just another one of Gods awesome sunrises on the water!
I used to Bass fish up past the pipeline in the Cypress trees years ago and they sure looked like Crappie havens.
congrats on a nice day

I haven't been on the boards in years but trying to get back into fishing a little bit. I used to tear them up consistently on the LMR. Most of my fishing was done above the marina and past the county road farm bridge. Some really good fishing can be had past the pipe line before the water warms too much. Most of my fishing was around cypress knees either jigging or casting rooster tails and and road runners. I realize your original post was a few weeks ago. Let me know if you have gone lately and how you did. I am going to try to get out today or this weekend and start working the bugs out of my boat.
No ice chest put them thangs in the gun box no problem
There is some good fish on those trees up there. Try fishing trees along the channel drop offs right now. Vertical jig Black/chart, PurpleChart, with 1/16th orange or pink head, tip with a nibble/minnow. Also try the brighter midsouth colors. You should catch a few.
