    Default Clear Water Crappie

I'm planning a trip to the northern part of Ark soon and was looking for some guidance. On the clear water lakes in Ark what colors generally work best or do shiners work better. I know there may difference of opinion but I would Like to hear them all.
    Thanks, James

Pearl is hard to beat,Black/chart has been good just about any color has worked just finding the fish with the cold fronts shallow one day deep the next close to a creek channel brush, rock, tree!! Roadrunners or Creekslick's Creekrunners in 1/8 oz have been the ticket!!

Whites, chartreuse, pumpkinseed, pink and sometimes yellow. Have done well on purple before, but mainly the first three mentioned.

Hey DP; good to hear from you. Alyssa is doing fine; all grown up now; she's 18. I'll tell her you said hello. We've been making the camps in Louisiana; I'd like to make some in Ark again. We moved to lake D'arbonne about 1.5 years ago and I fish there most of the time. I'm going to Beaver with a friend and fish next weekend. I've heard it's a beautiful lake and I like that part of Ark. If you get down this way give me a holler.
    Have a Blessed Day, James

Orange head blue body and natural mallard flank. That jig will kill em in clear water.
