It was a slow Big bite for us on Grenada most all week. But when we did get a bite it was a good one. The tourney was pretty much over for us after day one as we only could bring in 5 fish for 11.61. We really needed to catch the two or three big bites that got off on us. On day two we started off hot and put four in the boat with in the first two hours and then the bite went south on us until the last hour of the tourney and in the last 45 mins of the tourney I caught 3, 2 3/4 lb good ones, including one that hit at 3:27 PM and gave us a 15.26 lb stringer and a two day total of 12 fish at 26.87. We caught most our fish along main lake timber lines in 5-7 feet of water. I had a blast and will most likely make the drive to the home of three pounders every spring from here on out. What a lake and any time I can catch 12 fish for 26.87 in a tourney I am in win lose or draw. Here is some pics from Grenada. We also brought two fish home to mount one right at 3lbs and one at 2.15 oz. I was real proud of my boat the Dark Angel she battled in the timber all week and went down fighting until the bitter end. Creek your rod holder worked like a charm. Cant wait to get back down there.
