Well after a day of blow outs on the trailer and having to buy new tires yesterday we finally found a pattern on this big old Lake. I had never seen the lake before yesterday and I guess still haven't since we have been up the river in the ox bows but man this place is awesome. The fish were in 16-18 ft of water suspended over brush at ten ft and eating minnows and minner critters. If you have never been here I highly recommend it if for no other reason
than to boat ride up the river and check out the old lakes. Attachment 154388

Congrats , have heard it was a good Crappie lake. Have not been there since late 80's when Bass fishing club tournaments.

That one is on my list.

Congratulations on a nice mess of fish. In the areas where you fished what was the water temp.
GREAT haul! Man, that's a good looking load of slabs. Never been to Milwood, but just may have to try it out soon.
Nice work! I recently heard a presentation on the sedimentation of Millwood. Apparently it is filling in similar to Lake Conway. It will take a long time ti be filled in though. The good news is since the USGS did this study, there is detailed depth profile data available to make maps.
