I've been burnin gas with ethanol since the beginning and have no extra filters or water seperators and have never had the first problem. Not even one but i see that everyone else does. The only thing is I keep fresh gas and when its a month old or more i'll pour it into my dad's yota or in my blower. That and I keep the tank pressure release valve semi snug which lets minor temp changes occur without pulling moisture in.

Monkeywrench is telling you right. I would still buy good fuel line but would use non ethanol fuel. I would also add Sea Foam. Since I started doing that, I haven't had a minutes trouble. My boat sits idle two three month times of the year.
    Tell'em I'll be there.

That's one reason on rivers with lots of flow ,I try to always fish upstream from the ramps when possiable. I have enough trolling motor to pull several miles unless upstream in heavy current.
