I know God has been glorified in the prayers on this page. I am overjoyed to be a member of such a group. I pray for understanding, faith, peace and rest especially for the parents, but also for the grandparents. I pray for wisdom for the doctors. Our God is an awesome God. I pray for total healing and many father, son, grandson fishing trips in the future. In Jesus name! -Teresa -

Mondays praise report!
It is great to finally be out of the Pediatric ICU. Although bittersweet since we pretty much lived with the nurses. But he is in a step-down unit right now since he is doing so well. Our little guy has been improving a lot since my last update. He was extubated (respiratory tube taken out, he can breathe on his own), weaned off some big medications, alert and trying to cry although his voice is a little raspy. We received some awesome care packages from friends and family today. We really feel everyone's love and support, thank you all for the care packages and prayers for our little guy. He has half the world pulling for him it feels.
I just want to add that just this past Monday, we thought the worst for little chase,,,, he had 2 strokes by then, a massiV amount of swelling from the meningitis, burns from the blood leaving his legs and feet that almost looked like frost bite,,, They were afraid that he might loose a few toes or possibly skin graphs to the very least,mm But I'm her to say, that though everyone said he might even be blind, deaf, crippled or even dead, Our beloved Chase is still here! both eyes open! sensitive to both pain and joy seemingly,,, no long lasting burn issues!! no graphs! no blindness! No death! no damaged what so ever we can see as right now and we are believing God for even greater things yet to come,,, so thank you! thank you! Thank you! God is great and all things are possible. Thanks for the update and good news. I will continue to pray for a speedy recovery.
