    Default Beating of the drum

Fished the pool at Gold Creek for the first time today and all I could hear was the beating of the drum! Caught more drum today than I ever have before. At least I was getting bit. The crappie were very slow for me. Only boated two all day. A nice fella at the ramp gave me the three he had, so I got to come home and try out my Christmas present finally. An electric fillet knife. Man, I can't believe I used to do it the old fashioned way! Fried em up and we scarfed em down. Had a very nice visit with Nimrod and CMJ today. Good to see you fellas. Wish I could get out and do it more often. Not very successful by most folks standards but I enjoyed myself and what more can you ask for? Looking forward to the next time! Tight lines!

Who worked on your boat down here?
Did you tie into a few slabs?
