Please keep her in your prayers
Please say a prayer for my sister. Here is her post on facebook.
Rhonda Reeves Converse I just saw the news cast on Pancreatic Cancer on KATV.com.
I was diagnosed with a very rare (less than 1%) form of Pancreatic Cancer- Acinar Cell. December 16, 2013, Dr. Rosenberg at Houston Methodist removed my pancreas, spleen, gall bladder, part of my stomach. I had an 11cm tumor. 16 lymph nodes tested were determined negative along with the other organs.
I am now a type 1 Diabetic, waiting for approval for an artificial pancreas. Scheduled for a full body scan in two weeks, to look for anything else and set a baseline for future reference.
I grew up in Lakewood, but most of my friends lived in Indian Hills and we spent our summers around the lake and pool there. My close friends lived on Flintrock and Osage.
Also, at my pharmacy there is a man whose wife had pancreatic cancer, I don't know any details of where they live but it is NLR.
Pancreatic Cancer is supposedly very rare ( the count in Indian Hills residence is 10+)……….. I think definitely there is something there.
