Is anyone running the lowrance five HD i combo I talked to a tech at lowrance and he told me that when you were running in 10 foot of water. It would only show 2 foot of the bottom and if you are in 20 foot of water, it would show 4 foot directly under the transducer surely it would show more than that, what do you fellows think of that.

That is accurate. If you are a 'shallow water' fisherman, you may want to call them back and ask if they have a wider angle transducer. It's the angle of the transducer that dictates the amount of coverage at a given depth.

(shallow water is a relative term. 20ft for me is deep water. 20ft for someone on another lake may be 'the shallows')
    I'd rather be fishing.
