When 'boo is placed shallow, and if the water level fluctuates enough to expose the 'boo back to the air, then it does degrade fairly quickly. However, if it's deep enough that it doesn't get exposed back to the air then it can last 5-10 years depending on the lake/location/depth.

AgriHawg is the resident "boo" expert. He is not only the "boo" president....he is also a client. He actually lives in a forest of boo. lol.

All joking aside, he knows this stuff better than most people know their spouses. If he says its so...its so.

Like I said, It will disappear quickly if placed shallow and it gets exposed due to lake drawdowns. And like most everything else, there's times the fish like the 'boo and times they prefer another type of structure.

Shallow water I'd recommend following Nimrod's advice and place pallet beds or drive stake beds with good hardwoods.

Just my opinion, and it's not worth much. I don't catch near the crappie most of these guys catch.

I prefer hard woods.

LOL there's one of those porcupine fish attractors on the back of your trailer....

My boo is in 25 foot of water...

I tried to do something with pallets one time, it bobbed back up, I got mad.... Threw the whole apparatus in the woods and never looked back.

I will be doing some of these this weekend, and set them out on a pvt take in Scott along with a couple Christmas trees the guy wants sunk out by his dock.
