Default Becoming A Legend On Crappie.Com/A Right of Passage.

I become a member On 4-29-08...Since that time I have posted 3999 times. It may not mean allot to some but for me it is a milestone to behold. I have always tried to be informative and to share what I can without hurting anyone's feelings on here. I think back to my time as a Newbie and all that I have learned from some Great Fisherman, who I now call friends because of this site. I thought to myself yesterday this is my 4000th post (I could not let it pass) without posting a good limit on my table at home.... that so many of you guys have taken the time to view over the years. I want you to know I thank you for your views and comments over the years.

I want you all to know I earned my right of passage yesterday...as I fought cold 25-35 MPH winds all afternoon. I watched my two 10 foot Jigging rods bow most of the day as I faced the wind trying to feel the Thump of a crappie...trying to maintain boat control, retie, get snags out, and netting my fish. It was a tuff afternoon and I saw few others on the lake today. I thought how fitting it would be to post these fish as my right of Passage and become a Legend on Crappie.Com.

Since sharing some of our knowledge is what Crappie.Com is about here, for my 4000th this is what I did yesterday to catch these fish. I fished 10-11 feet deep just off the bottom with a Fire PinK/16oz head and a Rc800 Midsouth Tube (see Picture) (you all know I love this bait) with a #3 Water Grimlin Splitshot 10-12 inches above the jig. I used silver metal flakes Nibbles. They did not want the bait moving so you can imagine how hard it was to keep the bait still in brush piles in 25 plus winds. As dark approached I took the split shot off and fished very shallow around Docks. These fish came from the pool area on Lake Conway AR. Thanks Crappie.Com for a great site and thanks to All it's member's for allowing me to get to my 4000th!!!. Tight Lines.
