There are crappie holding in front of Choctaw marina the bank just across the marina has brush piles and there are crappie on them it's just easier for me to catch them in conway. I've yet to master vertical jigging in 30ft of water I can take my flat bottom and stack rods out and troll for them but to me that is BORINGbigsnore. Good luck to ya
The Lake level(rose 3 ft) above from recent rain's and work are my excuses!!! Fished last friday all we could catch was Kentucky bass and Smallmouth!!! Know the crappie were on our trees and brush!!!Could not get them to bite!! In other words it was tough!!! Back to the(crappie fishing) learning board!! Its amazing what Creek, nimrod, crappie Pro and many other Pros can do!!! "WOW"!!!!

Thanks for the input everyone. I went to Conway for a few hours, was great weather for a sailor! Needless to say I came home with a big O goose egg!
