New state record?

Anyone heard of a pending state record ( crappie 5.9oz caught out Lake Conway. Saw a post on another fourm that mention it.

I have heard nothing of this and I would be the one who would verify the species and weight for a fish caught on Lake Conway. If this is true, please direct the angler to give ma a call.

I would really like to see the current record holder in person. Did it get mounted & is it on display anywhere? I still believe either mistakes or lying was involved with it. 18" long with a 13" girth just doesn't add up to 5#'s IMO.
