Thread: Got slabs?

After awakening to the aroma of bacon grease I jump out of my bed and that sweet little woman of mine had biscuits and gravy to go with it... She must be wanting something special for Christmas idk ... Anyways I wolfed that down and got another crappie rod out and cleaned me up a good reel and dad showed up. We sat around far too long talking about fishing and finally made our way back down to the water ... Not so top secret fishing spot had a boat or twelve in it. I finally paddled around there and got up out of the way and dropped my anchor ( old window weight ) sticks straight down in that mud Before I knew it I done had a crappie in the yak and no stringer to put it on . After several failed waving attempts to my father and two more fish later I finally yelled at him to bring me his cause I wasnt leaving to go after one. Not today Anyways I sat there with a 1/8th oz chart jig head with a chart bobby garland and as quietly as a could lifted one fish after another. Son- 20 Father- 1. Haha you know I rubbed that in on that hour ride back home. He get er figured soon enough though Always does ;( Haha
