Ok, I admit it, I'm busted.

Recipe for the day.

Ingredients

1 box large night crawlers.
1 bottle of cod liver oil
1 can of cheap sardines.
2 tea spoons of molasses
4 alka seltzer tablet.
1/2 cup pea gravel
1 sheet of notebook paper.

Directions
Drop all ingredients except the last 3 into the wifes blender when she isn't at home.
Blend it until it becomes soup and dump into a ziploc bag.
Add 1/2 cup pea gravel
Wrap 4 alka seltzer tablets in writing paper (do a careful job wrapping because you don't want them to fizz until the paper is dissolved)
Put paper with alka seltzer into mixture and insert into freezer and freeze until the consistency of granite.

Directions for use,

Take from freezer and carry to the lake in a very cold cooler.
Cut zip loc off and drop the frozen part into the lake. The pea gravel will give it enough weight to sink to the bottom.
Give it about 10 or 15 minutes to start thawing.
Water will start melting the package and will dissolve the notebook paper. This will activate the alka seltzer
When you see the bubbles from the alka seltzer bubbles, drop a night crawler down...

When a good slick forms on top, that means the cod liver oil has all come to the top and it is time to drop another "package"

It's a drum magnet and the best way I know of to target that species which are really good blackened.
