I fish the muddy water oxbows of the Mississippi and White Rivers, Reelfoot and on up to the clear water reservoirs like Norfork, Greers, Ouachita, etc.,. My line of choice is Berkley Solar XT. It is a high vis line that I like and on familiar waters I don't have issues catching fish. I grew up using the Stren Golden line also and I still like to see my line, no matter what depth I'm fishing, especially when I'm using 1/80 ounce jigs. That's just how I do it and it works for me.
