Thanks for the compliment. If you ever decide to come up, I'll leave you a buoy on some fish.

David u would just have to fish some of these small waters to know and understand , some of the locations that have been overcrowded r only a few acres of water. , not like the thousands of acres in those big lakes , u say u are catching limits on Sardis pulling cranks, that's thousands of acres of water , I say fishing willomina cove on lake Conway , that's a few acres , put 30 boats in there and it makes a differance !
Thanks for the tip I'll have to check out engineer point next summer! Lol!!!
I am not from Arkansas, but can relate to this thread. I mainly fish a smallish reservoir about 25 minutes from the house. I fished the water about 10 times beginning this year after buying my first boat. My son and I finally got into some crappie and another forum member posted about his catfishing trip the same day my son and I had found some good fish. He added in his post that he saw 2 guys tearing up a limit of crappie. The entire month we had fished this lake the most boats on the water was maybe 5 boats scattered about the lake. Some catfishing and some bass fishing. Never saw a boat in the deeper areas of the lake. The next time we went to fish the lake there were at least 10 boats fishing exactly where the other fella said he had seen us catching fish. This is the reason I don't share what body of water I fish anymore. The funny part of the story was the fish were set up about 500 yards from where we caught our limit the week before. None of the other boats ventured to where we found them, and we fished off the side of the boat away from the free grazers. I never seen one of them bring a fish to the boat. I made sure to make a post to that regard after cleaning a nice mess of fish again. The lake has gone back to the few if any boats the remainder of the year. Had one homeowner from the lakeside meet me at the dock one evening to see what I had been catching because I was spending a lot of time near his dock. We got to talking and I ended up giving him our catch from that day and even cleaned them for him on the truck tail gate. He offered his home anytime we needed shelter or to warm up if we come ice fishing. He said without any prompting from me that our "secret would be safe with him". About 2-3 weeks later we got called of the water for a steak dinner with many of his neighbors and got many more offers to feel free to come to their house if we needed anything. This all may payoff in a very unexpected way. They are planning on closing the lake to non residents of the lake community. More than one said they would put us on the list of family or friends to allow us access to their lake. Pays to do the right thing.

Several of you complained about the lurkers until you had your own forum to post hotspots so he couldn't see until they became a member. Now you come down in the main forum saying we're not sharing with the members which some never go to your forum on hotspots.Don't mind looking at your catch but could careless where you caught them.I known like was said in a under post you didn't tell us to click on the forums,in others words don't come here.Nomatter like the thread starter his thoughts don't agree with some and he gets stepped on,its the reason I stopped posting .You can give your thoughts on some thing and if it doesn't agree with some of you your labeled as Lurker. Its gone down hill,Evey disappointed..
