Man that's cool - thanks for what you do and thanks for sharing the post/pics. I miss fishing that grass, but I quit fishing over there after 4 great years. I'm anti-social when I'm fishing I guess b/c I like to be alone and that's definitely not the place to accomplish that LOL. Thanks again!

I think since the concept of this procedure is to "SAMPLE". We need about 200 of those big ole Redears for the spring camp fish fry. Just saying!!!!

I dont think that my superiors would approve, but I tell you what, I will do my best to catch some this spring and bring them to camp. If not you will just have to settle for crappie!

D10, I asked above but maybe you missed my question as I have not seen a response. Just trying to understand with such a huge lake why put nets in one of the most popular places to fish during this time of year?

Gotcha d10, thanks for the info there. Didn't realize the same sites are used yearly for that reason. No inconvenience, just wondered how the sites were chosen and why. Man I need an eye exam as I am having difficulty reading anymore lol

Ole Vince will give permission to just about anyone who asks, as long as you dont mention Crappie.com. He used to throw huge Fourt of July and Labor Day parties there, but I hear he has quit partying now. I was in the cove at daylight yesterday and those guys were already there drinking. So I figure they were pretty lit by the time we left at 1:30. Matt and the other guys handled it well, I guess they're used to it.

Thanks for trying to reason with them. It wasn't the first time and it wont be be the last time that I will be cussed for doing my job. I used to have pretty thin skin, but it has gotten tougher by the year. Things like that really don't bother me any more. I just chalk it up to ignorance and go about my day.
