    Default Iso lost bobber

After a morning of pickin pecans in greenbrier at a buddy's house my dad and I made our way back to the water of an evening of fishing. I set out whipping that bobber through the breeze and worked over a few general areas where I tend to pick them up and I ranged my depth here and there and I couldn't find a bite nowhere. I start to ponder over it for a minute an happen to look over and see a fellow c.com er pull in a slab or two ... After seeing that I reached up underneath the hull of my yak and pulled out my Nikon spotting scope and went to spying on them boys ... Haha They finally lifted their rods enough times that I got a rough estimate on their depth and kinda what they was doing . So I lost that bobber and went to monkey see monkey doing lol the best I could anyway ... After a good ten drum I finally managed three good slabs but hey I got on to something new and I was proud to have them Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk1386813197.507684.jpg

Watching other folks and paying close attention to detail can make the differance in a good day and a bad day sometimes, I've changed my strategy many times by keying on others fishing

I guarantee it. I was having fun that's for sure I hated that I was hanging into them drum but I was smiling just bc I was catching something fishing out of my element ... I still ain't got a clue what kind of jig head I need to be using or how y'all are rigging em up but I ended up finding something in that box that worked with a bobby garland ... U fishing tomorro Greg?

I am guilty of spying as well. Until I could work up the nerve to ask a few fellers some hints and tips, this was my main way to learn new things. I wish I would have spoken up a little earlier, I might not have struck out so much. Yeah I would have!

Yes sir my parents didn't raise no idiot . I won't try to get in a mans fishing space and crowd him out bc he is catching fish ... But that don't mean I won't put my rod down and watch him for twenty mins an go about my own way doing what he's doing

First of all Yak, I cant wait till you catch that 3 lb'r to go with all those other awesome mounts. I will use spotting glasses and dont mind asking for help when I am on the water. Most of my trips require 4-5 hours of driving and 4-5 hours of fishing. Knowing what to do is very important.
