Not what you're thinking....... what do you use when your jig gets hung?

Saves lots of time not having to rety... and will save Spanky to fight another crappie! May save more than that!!

There once was a man from Lonoke
Tried to free his jig with a poke
On his face was a smile,
    Only lasted a while,
'Til the tip on his Ozark rod broke!

I use a little plastic clothesline reel and homemade knocker. Sure will save those tips.

I get by with 2 oz, but at times wish it was a little heavier. 3 oz may be the answer......the opening on the jewelery clasp ring (get the largest ones Hobby Lobby has) will fit right over the jig head and get the weight right on the curve of the hook which helps I think.

Bill I've got one that has several 8"-10" chains on it to grab the treble hooks on a crank to pull it free. With jigs I just break them off or straighten the hook.
