I like the silver ones just fine. Here lately though I've been using a black jig head with a chartruese eye with my Black/green curl tails. It does seem to work a little better!

Do you guys use the silver jig heads, or do you guys use the painted jig heads? I went to to the Academy at lunch and there are just sooooo many to choose from. I was wondering what works best for you guys...Thanks!

Here lately I have been doing better with the chartruese jig heads.

beats a good day at work.

I like a pink or red head with the blk/chart body. I also use unpainted heads with blk/chart. Either way, my goto jig body is blk/chart for the water that I typically fish (very stained). Which color works best is almost always specific to that lake and those specific water conditions. I don't believe that any one jig color combo will work 100% of the time.
I have a guy that molds jigs make mine. Mine are 1/8 oz round heads unpainted. Most of the time the leadhead is pushed into a large tube bait.:D
