It has definately been an expensive and time consuming job. I used to have a small boat similar to this one and I loved fishing out of it. I used that old one more than any other boat I have ever had. A couple times I took it on family vacations to Branson. While the wife and kids shopped and toured I trout fished on Taney Como. Then we had grilled trout for dinner. Loved that little boat because it was cheap to operate and cost almost nothing to pull it. That is what prompted me to find another. I traded a guy a rifle for the boat motor and trailer. Took it home and started taking it apart. That was in January of this year. I a worked on it as time and money allowed. I had to order a water pump kit for it, if it comes in she will have her maiden voyage this weekend. I will mainly fish small lakes around this area and creeks around the AR river. I do dream of taking her down to Louisiana and trying my hand at catching some Red Fish. Anyway, y'all can watch for this boat on Blue Mountain, Hinkle, several city water lakes in this area, and you can bet ur but I will be wearing it out on Wister lake this spring.

I love those lights. Tri-hull fiberglass ranger with a 85 on it was the first boat I ever fished out of.

I was wondering how fast she might be. Where did you get the midsection extension on the johnnyrude?? I like it. Did you remove the rod box?? Looks like in the pictures with the LEDs on it had a rod box that might have been removed. They aren't much use with todays equip, ecspecially crappie poles. lol.

Thanks so much for sharing!! Would love to find a 15 or 16' kindfisher or the like, stick steer to restore. Would make a GREAT crappie rig...as you have shown!! Now we need pics of you holding crappie you caught in the boat!
