I've had a cabin in the east side of Yawnoc for 25 years and spend 2 weekends a month up there. I catch bream, bass, and cats till the cows come home but can't catch a crappie. I get a kick out of logging in here and seeing you fellers with limits on the same day I got skunked. I often consider puttering cross to Golden Pond but then if I still got skunked not sure my psyche could handle it, lol. I'll never quit trying with ya'lls help, Ozark rods, Midsouth tubes, nibbles by the bushel, and condos by the truckload.

I don't know what a lurker is but I do surf around and read a lot of the post on here but I do that to try and learn , I've hunted all my life but health got bad and couldn't get around out in the woods like I used to . So my daughter and I took up this sport a couple of years ago , but if I'm doing something you guys don't like let me know , there just isn't a lot of sites that I can find with info on them , and I am in Arkansas mabelvale not far from the new bass pro shop , I fish nimrod every chance we get .

Hello all. I am a lurker. I primarily fish Horseshoe, but I will also make a trip to Dacus, Midway, and Island 40 before Mr. Sample sold the place.

I am on Horseshoe 50 plus times a year. High water, low water or no water it is my favorite lake to fish. I primarily bass fish, but I do like to sling a jig under the piers when I am craving some crappie fillets, or it is so hot in the summer that I want some shade.

Welcome aboard Shoeslayer. Your dedication to the Shoe sounds kind of like the way I feel about Conway. That sucker can beat me to death in the summer but I just keep coming back.

I've accepted the label! Been chasing deer lately. Made one trip to "x" this fall, got 7(about my average). If you see a dirty ole dura craft with a 40 Nissan and a CDC sticker on the console drop by- I will share what not to try!
