We fished from 11 to dark yesterday and ended up with 16. It was a tough bite. I did however get me a new 10 foot Ozark from Bates and man I like that rod in thick shallow cover. The Midsouth char/red flake produced the most but spanky got in on a little action too.

Good Job Mark...They are there. Being there when they go on the frenzy is key. Another 10 foot Ozark believer is born. I cant tell you how many friends of mine have become rear seated 10 foot Ozark believers. The most enjoyable jigging rod i have found.

They were sure in a frenzy today. There were lots of stunned shad due to the cold snap, and the Crappie were tearing em up. I launched at six and had a limit by 7:30. White/chart at sunup, then they wanted the bait Rookie was talking about. Good stuff. Sorry for hijacking Russ.
