Thread: A salute to my crappie.com brothers

Well a friend of mine named Habib wrote that poem, and he told me that it was the perfect Crappie dot Com poem. I wrote him back a pm and I told him that it was not the perfect Crappie dot Com poem because he hadn't said anything at all about purple turbans, or livewell fishermen, or LOSERS, or using nibbles...........

Chris made me realize that this was not the perfect crappie.com poem, so I sat down and wrote one more verse and feel like I've finally wrote the perfect crappie.com poem. And I felt obliged to include it in this thread. The last verse goes like this here.


It was hot the day we fished with crappie nibbles
On Lake Nimrod the LOSER was doing swell
But before the day had ended, and a limit was caught
Habid in a purple turban was fishing in my live well.

And I'll hang around as long as you well let me...
