Well I've been away for a while now but finally got to go the other day and it took a while but I ended up catchin sum nice ones... spider rigged in 10 fow w jigs tipped w minnows...I'm sick of goin and not catching limits so I'm about to do a lot of work putting out crappie beds made out of slab wood at different lakes... if they produce good I'll be glad to share the coordinates with yal... I've spent lots of money in poles and s.i. fish finder and my boat etc. etc. And I'm all setup like I want to b and should b able to catch good limits consistently and I'm not there yet... maybe the work I put in on the structure will pay off... O and BTW wut is this lake x I keep hearing about??? Good fishing fellas!!!
Lake X is just a joke of sorts. It's where you are catching fish..
If you are catching fish on Taylor's Bay, my hat is off to ya!! I don't think I will ever see that body of water again!
If I eliminated every body of water that had skunked me at one time or the other.....I would be fishing in my bathtub......GKbatts.....congrats sir.
that don't look lake X to me ,But nice catch
All men are created equal, some work harder in the preseason.

Lol I know yal had trouble over there this spring but I've pulled sum nice fish out of there... if its as bad as yal say maybe I should jus start fishing sum new water and maybe I'll start pulling in sum limits lol...O and basscat1 I jus wanna know what u caught out of ur bathtub since it wasn't eliminated from ur list hehe
You might be surprised what I have had in my bathtub! I'll leave it at that!As far as Taylor's Bay, I'm sure like any of the other lakes along the White, it produces. The biggest issue for me is the fact that is takes me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get over there. If I'm driving that far, I'll head on down to the south end of the White where I have a place to stay and can fish a couple of days.
I'm planning on going back over there and either fish in Taylor Bay or on the river this next summer. I found some good eddies in the river that should produce some fish.
Gk, I'd bet if you put some tops in there, they would do really good. I found several shelves in there that were between 7 and 9 feet that with a brush top could hold fish for the bigger part of the year. Hope to see some pics of some good ones you pull out of there!
