Is the bite still really light or are they starting to hit the bait better.

The smaller fish seem to thump hard on the bank. The bank big fish have been really good at hitting it on the fall not letting you know they sucked it in. Lol you lift up thinking your on a pad stem and it turns out to be a slab as you lift up with out a good hook set and bye bye slab...he gets off. The bite in deep water is a pounding Thump..
