Thread: Rainy Day Thumpers

I decided to pull out the ole Frogg Toggs and hit Lake X before the Monsoon hit. Well, I fished for ten minutes before the rain started and had five in the boat! It was a light rain for the first hour or so and the fish were loving it! Then the monsoon hit.....they didn't love that so much!!! Took me two more hours to get the three that I needed to finish off my limit. All fish were holding tight to brush and right on the bottom. Black and chartreuse Joker with a 1/16th red head was the ticket today. The quality was a lot better than they have been in the last couple of weeks. Good sign I think?
