If it was like last time the goverment shut down means Corps will lock gates on all parks leading to boat ramps! We paid for yearly passes to use and will probably be locked out till this is over. That is a crock to lock us out of the boat ramps.

If those "people" on capitol hill can't do THEIR job and figure out how to make the government operate and are so selfish to allow the government to shutdown, every last one of them should be removed from office.

I'd like to take a big stick and a can of whoop azz up there and I bet I could make the government run!! If we would all vote them out and get those high dollar pensions removed, we could all retire and fish more!!

SO SAD.....Im not big on politics, but I just cant' make myself understand some of the things we do. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for helping a neighbor, but I just can't figure out why we can't find money to spend in our own country, but can make a parking lot out of another country and then give them money to rebuild....Thats just one small example...Dunno,, just don't make no dam sense to me.....

So, does this mean that the COE campgrounds are closed and therefore no access to the boat ramps there? Why? What about state parks, are they closed also?

Your exactly right. My buddy left to go hunting this am and had to turn back around and go home, Felthensal refuge in Crossett. Any government owned facilities is how I understood it

I heard from a COE employee they would go in and shut down the parks before being sent home. I think it will just be Federal Goverment Parks not State , but don't bet on anything.

My take on Obama Care is all the folks that work for the goverment , politicans , and other folks covered by our tax dollars should be forced into the same plan and see how many vote for it !

I told my self I would stay out of this today. But, the house did propose that congress would not be exempt from the same health care as the population. Mr. Reid shot that down too. You don't hear much about that.
