Thread: shut down means less fishing

My thoughts on the whole deal when it comes to our government....Stupid is Stupid does! I'm on my days off work and can't fish, sucks. Like I told several folks in the SW AR area, our tax $ pay these guys yet they close the ramps??? Most of these local lakes were built by a few of the older guys in the community yet now they can't use them??? I'm headed to the deer woods tomorrow but if I knew fish were biting for sure I'd find a way in.
We the people really have to become self sufficient from our crazy government, the sooner the better! Fish are loving it though I'd say. If this goes on too long there WILL be folks finding ways on the water and I'll be one of them......how they going to stop a mop....it's the only way to prove to them WE WILL FISH IF WE WANT!

Just why are the ramps closed , in all my years of fishing I've not seen one time a Coe person setting at the ramp guarding it , the only time I see one is when they are riding around the parking lot making sure you paid your money to launch your boat , like a lot of others I all ways buy the yearly pass and hang it from my rear view mirror , I agree to the shut down we do not need Obama care , but some of the things they are doing just don't make since but most of the time it never does ,

I don't agree with the shut down. The ramps are closed because of a few sore losers that don't mind hurting and inconveniencing lots of people just because they didn't get their way. Shutting down the government is the wrong way to fight that battle.

I disagree. How else do you prove that you are serious? Simply stating that "enough is enough" has not been working, and the American people keep getting rolled over. Sometimes we have to put our foot down to be taken seriously, even if it causes everyone a little discomfort. This country is so far gone that we will all have to sacrifice before we can recover. That means no Bammy phones, or Bammy Care. Why do we need someone telling us that we have to have health care, and what type of coverage we have to have? Control, thats why. You can choose to stay in the dark if you want, but what you gonna do when Mr. Man starts telling you what to eat for dinner, or what kind of boxers to wear to work? Its the logical next step.
