Congrats guys,it was tuff.
As far as the livewell thing I know of several teams that lost fish that were in coolers on the bottle. I use the live well and run the pump constantly, seems to work.

Thanks for the recap. Never having been in a TOURNAMENT I enjoyed hearing about the experience. Sounds like it was an Iron Man kind of thing. John we had them in the live well with pumps running!! The 13 and 14 in fish did fine it was just the bigger fish 15 and 16 in fish they would turn belly up with in 30 min. In the livewell. Just could knot get enough bites to recover from fish dying!!!!! It cost us from being in the top 25 to being in the 40s or so
..still had a great time and gave it all I had.

Any chance the tough bite and the fish dieing so fast might indicate some type of stress? Just wondering? Maybe water conditions changing so fast?

Thanks for the story. We caught a few on Nimrod last weekend. The largest was dead in 30 minuets as well. Fileted him and put him on ice imidiately. The smaller ones lived until we finished about 4 hours later.
