That works on alot of lakes.

True, but Conway has so much visible cover that people tend to get stuck in one spot because it looks good. My father-in-law found a spot that produced good fish all last summer, but hasn't been good at all this year. He will sit in that same spot all day long even if he's not catching anything. That is a pretty common mistake that I see people make on this particular lake.
