I haven't caught a Saugeye out there lately but haven't been trolling enough for that. Trolling and casting crankbaits are the only way I've caught them on Maumelle. I caught a 3 lb channel trolling a crank last week & have caught 10-15 lb. drum the same way. Last year good crappie/bream year on Maumelle. In my experience this year has not been as good. But,... now I have hope. Going to tape Velcro on lip balm and go trollin.
