What got me to thinking about this mainly is the work being done by bass clubs on Conway. Us crappie fellers could pool our resources and labor for the good of our way of thinking too.
In South east Texas they have the Bayou City (??) club. I see where they have tournements on this sight and Texas forum.
But, I also hear that the fishing is great on Lake Houston. I bet they had a lot to do with that.
I don't know what else it would be good for. But, it looks to me that Jerry and Darryl go through quite a bit so the crappie camps will be succesful. They could probably use some help from a crappie club.

( PS ) I know better than to suggest something. It usually ends up with more work when I do it on the job. Remember, I have already admitted to killing one club.
A few of us have kicked the idea of forming a crappie club arround but havent got it done yet. In fact I called and spoke with several crappie.com guys who head up there respective clubs and got some good info from them. I would be interested in it but dont want to head it up myself. CEB from the board and I have talked about it several times and were thinking we could start small and have some nightstalking rodeos in the central arkansas area and just get some of the crappie.com guys out to meet and greet each other and kick it arround. The main thing I think we need is a leader and a get toghether that involves fishing. Any ideas or leadership would be appreciated.

What are your thoughts on how to best get the ball rolling?
