    Default Cats an crappie

Had the pleasure of fishing with Nimrod today an I have to say he sure know how to put you on the fish. We started off with cats an after a limit we went after the crappie. We caught a lot of fish an some very nice ones as well.
Thanks nimrod for a great day. Hope to do it again sometime.

Good to see ya'll on the lake today. I hope I didn't churn ya'll up too much when I went by. No doubt about Nimrod being able to catch a fish. By the way, my 15 turned into a 14 by the time I got back to the ramp

Those fish are eating good so they should be on their way to becoming good slabs. I have never, ever, ever seen so many shad in all my life. You could actually hear the sloshing they made coming from all around you. It was an amazing sound and sight. We chased the schools and caught gobs of little fish, but no big ones. Gar as long as your leg were tearing up jack busting those shad as well as other fish. We should have taken some video. I don't know what the sonar recording shows since they seemed to be on the surface, but if it is interesting, I'll post it.
