Default Yall Ain't Gonna Beleave This!!

I slipped off and spent the evening on Lake Maumelle dragging Bandits. While attending to different matters, I allowed one of my lines to wrap around the big prop. I trimmed it up and was stretched out on it when my chapstick fell out of my pocket. Fishes started knocking it around until one finally took it under. I watched for a while and gave up on it. I had to cut the line that was in the prop. While I was retreiving my Bandit, It was suddenly stripped from my hands. Them fishes had stole my chapstick and my Bandit. But, after I tied another Bandit on, I looked up and there was my chapstick. I guess the Bandit tasted better.
A total of 7 white bass, 1 crappie, and a couple of nice bream.

Since I haven't done well at all on Maumelle lately I studied your picture to determine where all those fish are. I Judge you were trolling the channel on the southwest side, maybe e between the sunken bridges. But, do I have to use Chapstick or will another brand work?

I am sure this will do nothing for my reputation as a crappie slayer (ok no repuation at all....) but I have been wearing out the kentuckies dragging crankbaits behind a pontoon boat for the last 6 weeks....we catch an occasional crappie....but better yet a saugeye at least every other trip....I have turned right out of the marina everytime....but have thought about going up past the chimney and trying to hit the creek channels out in the middle......any thoughts

Yep, I think you need to buy chapsticks and add hooks . Be cheaper than Bandits.

Certainly hope the fish put the lid back on it after using it. Heck of a trolling motor you got there pulling up that water fall.

I didn't mention the little Kentuckies that hounded me. Must have been a dozen or more. I Wondered if the fish in my picture could be a sauger. I don't know if I have ever seen one.

I went right (east) out of the marina. This time. I was on the far shore. I always troll with the wind. So, that really dictates where I fish on this lake. I have two depth finders on my boat. I marked 2 stumps all day.
