When I was young, I went to Arkabutla with a neighbor trotlineing. We saw two men at the ramp that had some crappie that were as big as a sculling paddle. (no Joke) The cooler was so full they couldn't close the lid. I will never forget that. Biggest crappie I've ever seen. They may have had a record crappie and didn't know.
