Thread: Fall Camp?

That's a great weekend for me Chris. I'm not on call so I should be able to make it. What lake are we fishing? Since it may just be the 2 of us, Cliff's cow pond over at Possum Grape has been known for some trophy bullhead cats and sun perch. Depth finders not needed since it is 2.5 feet all over. Best fight I ever had was when I hooked Cliff's Brahma bull on the ultra-light when it waded out in the pond to get a drink. When I set the hook it was on like donkey kong. I turned him a couple times, but he eventually spooled me and broke off. I thought I had a shot at a line class record for awhile even though I was kinda dreading trying to get 2000lbs of mad Brahma bull in my ego reach net.

Well in that case, we will hold it on the private dink hole. That place is so loaded with Crappie, even WE could luck out and catch us one of those 8 inch slabs. It will be a camp to remember.

It have to be in Oct or Nov before I get to go anywhere.

I would like to go to a crappie camp? Although I have very little knowledge I want to learn and teach my kids what it's all about.

Good idea! We won't be having a big cookout but we will have a good time at the weigh in and I'm sure a group of us will get together the night before and grab some dinner somewhere!! So even if your not fishing the tourney come out and fish with us! We will know in the next week where we will be holding the Championship but it looks Dardanelle may be the place!!
