Fishing here in D'Arbonne has been embarrassing also, but can be fantastic in the fall and winter. For those not watching Louisiana, Governor Bobby Jendell signed a bill taking the limit back to 50 crappie on toledo Bend. D'Arbonne was on the bill as an amendment. It went into affect Sept 1. However two days before it went into affect, Wildlife and Fish people in Monroe didn't know anything about it. How deep was the water you were tossing crankbaits

We call them in 20 to 35 feet of water. we were running the crank baits about 12-15 feet deep. Darbonne is one of my favorite lakes and one of the best crappie lakes in the country. I couldn't catch anything there week before last.

Triton XP200. Not many around.... I think they only made 75 or so. I just always thought a boat should have a center console! My ultimate Crappie boat for big water would be a 22-24 foot Bay boat.
